First Steps to Check Your Eligibility
To join the NDIS, you need to meet you will need to meet certain eligibility requirements.
- You are under 65 years of age.
- You are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen with a Protected Special Category Visa.
- You have a permanent or significant disability requiring support from others, equipment, or assistive technology.
- The NDIS scheme is available in your location.
- In some cases, if you already receive disability services, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will contact you before your area transitions.
