How to Access Personal Care Supports?
To access personal care supports under the NDIS, participants need to have these services included in their NDIS plan. This requires an assessment of individual needs, which is usually done during the NDIS planning meeting. The supports provided are tailored to the participant’s level of function, living environment, and whether aids, equipment, or training can reduce the need for direct assistance.
